With uncomplicated administration, a highly intuitive user interface and advanced mobility options, the AT&T; SB67030 represents a breakthrough communications solution to meet the diverse needs of any SMB organization. The system’s easily scalable architecture protects technology infrastructure investments and delivers a significantly lower total cost of ownership compared to competing platforms.

AAT will showcase the new SB67030 telephone system, along with the complete line of AT&T; SMB telephony products, at VoiceCon San Francisco, Booth #801, Nov. 2-5, at the Moscone North Convention Center.

Highly Scalable Architecture for Growing Businesses

The new AT&T; SMB phone system features individual components that can be configured to meet the unique needs of any SMB office environment. Operating as a distributed intelligence, or “peer-to-peer” system using the PTSN Gateway (SB67010: $199.99) the need for additional connectivity hardware such as punchdown blocks is eliminated. The system uses existing Ethernet LAN connections for internal calls and reliable standard telephone lines to support external calls.

The mobility-ready deskset (SB67030: $279.99) is easily connected to the existing Ethernet connection and delivers greater productivity with the addition of an optional AT&T; DECT 6.0 Cordless Handset (SB67040: $129.95) and/or AT&T; Cordless Headset (TL7600: $99.95), with no additional cabling or hardware required. Add-on cordless handsets and headsets mobilize employees up to 500 feet from their desks, providing them with the freedom to move around the office to get business done.

“The AT&T; SB67030 is the right fit for any SMB organization – because it can be easily tailored and scaled, which optimizes the cost investment over time,” said Matt Ramage, senior vice president, product management, Advanced American Telephones. “Combining the benefits of an intuitive interface and simple installation, this system enables SMB administrators and installers to focus on business at hand instead of complicated operations, and that’s increased productivity for all.”

Easy Installation, Intuitive Interface and Product Features

The SB67030 has been designed to enable trouble-free setup right out of the box and is simple enough for one person to install and maintain. The system can discover its components within mere minutes of being connected to the LAN. An easy-to-understand, web-based interface allows the system administrator to easily customize the system, including system-wide and individual settings and user configurations – all of which can be made with any PC on the attached network.

For the end-user, system setup is streamlined through a highly intuitive, customizable interface. The large, backlit LCD display provides help text to guide the user through all features, including voicemail and feature operations. Context-sensitive soft keys intuitively change, adapting to user input, and user selectable ring tones help individuals identify when their phones are ringing. The deskset also features DECT 6.0 technology for compatibility with the cordless expansion handset and headset, which provide mobility without requiring additional hardware installation.

The cordless handset duplicates most functions of the deskset and also offers a large lighted display, speakerphone and selectable ring tones. The lightweight cordless headset does not require a lifter when paired with the deskset, allowing users to select from three wearing styles to answer calls hands-free.

Total Cost of Ownership Leader

With this rich feature set, scalability, easy maintenance and productive operations, the SB76030 has been designed to optimize the telecommunications investment by delivering adaptability for future communications needs, resulting in a lower total cost of ownership compared to competing systems. Hardware costs are 25 percent below the average cost of competing systems.

Complete AT&T; SMB Telephony Product Suite

The new SB67030 expands AT&T;’s suite of SMB telephony offerings and provides businesses with a sophisticated and scalable communications solution to increase office mobility. AAT also recently announced the SB67118, the only small business system in the United States to feature optional DECT 6.0 repeaters for an unprecedented talk range of up to half a mile.

The SB67030, along with the current AT&T; SMB telephony lineup, will be available in December through distributors including Ingram Micro, Jenne Distributors, Tech Data and Teledynamics the country
